With nearly 100,000 spectators and spectators expected, Geneva is positioned as a pillar of this UEFA Women’s Euro 2025. However, youth will not be outdone. In collaboration with the Department of Public Instruction, Training and Youth, the “1ecole-1championne” program will associate eleven players from the FC Chênois female with eleven primary education schools. Students will thus have the opportunity to chat with a professional footballer, follow her sports season and discover the club. It will also be an opportunity to make students aware of the life of high -level female sport, especially for a footballer in Switzerland, and to discover the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025.
Other educational and sports initiatives, both in the school and extracurricular framework, will be implemented throughout the year in order to inspire Geneva youth and to promote diversity in sport and physical activity.
