Throughout the month of July, this esplanade becomes a true physical and artistic field of expressionwelcoming a series of sports activities open to the public: football, skateboarding, parkour, climbing wall, tennis …

To dress this living and versatile placeTones redecorated the entire floor and create a work that is both spectacular, interactive and inclusive.

    About the artist

Tones, born in Geneva, famous here 20 years of pictorial activism. Passionate about drawing, painting and graffiti, he endeavors to make his universe shine beyond Swiss borders. His journey led him to collaborate with the biggest brands and institutions: Nike (Wall in Beaverton HQ, Oregon), UNO (special edition of cards), or the Graffiti Museum in Miami, where he was the first Swiss artist to paint the walls.

He recently exhibited in Shanghai as part of an international event carried by this same museum. It is therefore quite natural that he returns to paint a monumental work in his hometown to mark this passage and share it with his audience.

    A fresco entitled “Trajectories”

She celebrates the movement, sport and life. Curves, arrows and lines express the dynamics of the game, sports tactics, surpassing oneself, and more broadly life paths, with their ups, their stockings, their rebounds.

Each trait is important, each line completes the other: A metaphor for team spirit. The bright colors echo the energy of female sport and also respond to the urban framework surrounding the work. There is no unique reading: everyone and everyone is free to appropriate the work, to project their own history. A fresco made for you, for the city of Geneva, passers -by, players and dreamers.
