The Security Council turns out to be on the future of the Complete Complete Action Plan set up in 2015 to prevent Iran from arming its ambitious nuclear program, which has been in effective limbo since the American withdrawal in 2018 and the rejection by the parties of the agreement by Iran. The UN Political Affairs Head, Rosemary, Dicarlo, described the ceasefire of American negotiation overnight between Israel and Iran as a “significant success” and “an opportunity to avoid a catastrophic escalation and to reach a peaceful resolution of the nuclear problem of Iran”.
