The creation of the association La Joy d’O-Vives has been the subject of a participatory process Led by the local Social Eaux-Vives Cité / Champel team. This approach was carried out in partnership with the animation center for retirees from the General Hospice (CAD). Twelve years after the closure of the Seniors of Eaux-Vives club, the new association fills a lack in the neighborhood. It will be an essential associative partner in terms of Seniors support. The creation of this association meets two objectives of the new Long live policy of the city of Geneva: The fight against isolation and encouragement in citizen participation.
