The challenges of Europe and the role of the Council of Europe: Alain Berset at Conference in Geneva | City of Geneva

This event,, organized in partnership with the City of GenevaGeneva Graduate Institute, the University of Geneva (Unige) and the Foundation for Geneva, reflects the city’s commitment to Promote dialogue on major international and European challenges.

There Mayor of Geneva, Christina Kitsos, will open the event by emphasizing the importance of these debates for our city, which embodies both a tradition of reception and a privileged place to discuss on major contemporary challenges.

At the heart of this conference, Alain Berset will share his Vision of current issuesin particular the impact of climate change and artificial intelligence. His intervention will be followed by a discussion with Paola Gaeta, professor of international law at the Geneva Graduate Institute. Three students will then take part in the exchange before the public could ask his questions, under the moderation of Frédéric Esposito, director of the Bachelor in international relations of the GSI of Unige.
